Jérémy Lauzon arrived in Nashville via trade from the Seattle Kraken and has steadily became an integral part of the Predators blueline.
Lauzon is a former 2nd round draft pick of the Bruins in 2015 and was picked up by the Kraken in the 2021 expansion draft.
While he’s never been much of an offensive threat, the defender is well known for one aspect of his game; he loves to hit. In fact, he does it so much that in 2023-2024 he set the NHL record for most hits in a season with 386.
Lauzon has been a part of a shift in play in the past few seasons as Nashville hearkens back to it’s Smashville roots with more physicality. There’s also been more fighting, and the Canadian defenseman has dropped the gloves 14 times in those two and a half seasons.
The Nashville Predators wore their White Set 1 jerseys in 17 road games from October 10th, 2023 to December 30th, 2023.
Jérémy Lauzon played in all 17 of those games, scoring just 1 goal and 1 assist. The jersey is photomatched to all 17 games.
He also added 63 hits and fought Adam Lowry and Brayden Schenn while wearing this sweater.
Lauzon’s White Set 1 gamer shows tremendous wear. It is arguably the most wear I’ve seen on an adidas era jersey.
The right sleeve has at least 17 repairs split between the gold and white fabric around the elbow. There are also board burns and stick marks. Nashville wore a very nice looking 25th Anniversary patch on the right shoulder.
Even more repairs are present on the left sleeve, with at least 27 of them visible and again split between the gold and white fabric at the elbow. There are also two small unrepaired holes, some stick/puck marks, and board burns, and what looks to be white glue residue in one spot.
The front has some stick marks, including a small one on the crest, and one small repair below the crest. On the back you can find one two-inch long repair just below the fight strap. These Preds jerseys feature sublimated letters on the nameplate and the number design is also sublimated into one layer.
You can also see some pilling inside the back hem. These jerseys featured MeiGray set tags in the back hem, as well.
