Glendale native and former Jr. Coyotes standout Michael McCosh wore this absolutely stunning gamer for the New Mexico Ice Wolves in their inaugural season in the NAHL.
It was also McCosh’s first full season in the league, and he skated in 52 games scoring 2 goals and 7 assists.
His white gamer is very well worn.
The general dinginess of the jersey is not filth.
It’s actually sublimated symbols in light grey throughout the body and sleeves. The right sleeve has a few unrepaired cuts and burns and stick marks, as well as pilling throughout. The right sleeve has a few burn holes and some pilling.
The front has a few nice stick marks above the crest. The NAHL patch also has a puck mark on it. The right shoulder has a nice burn hole and the collar is ate up with pilling. The left collarbone are has a rip/hole, and the hem has a mark or two as well as burn marks.
The back is fairly clean beyond some wash wear and pilling. The back right shoulder has a small burn hole below the shoulder patch, and the right sleeve number 0 has some nice burn marks and stick marks visible.
McCosh served as captain of the Ice Wolves in their second season, and has committed to play college hockey at Buffalo State. He is another recent product of Arizona’s growing hockey culture showing they can succeed at the next level.
Beyond the Arizona tie-in, these jerseys are wild and absolutely awesome. They were voted the best jerseys in the NAHL and rightfully so.
