Patric Hornqvist’s 2008-2009 Gray Set 1 game worn jersey saw action from the start of the Milwaukee Admirals season until 1/17/2009. It was one of two sets of the gray away jerseys used by Milwaukee that year.
This Ads gamer has a tremendous amount of wear. The entirety of the jersey is littered with picks and pulls, and there is significant pilling on the hem of the front of the jersey. There are a few burns and stray marks throughout, as well.
It’s the right sleeve which features the most wear, however. There are multiple small holes all over the lower black portion of the sleeve, as well as two more large holes and another two medium sized ones. Further up the sleeve is yet another hole in the elbow region that spans the baby blue band and into the gray portion of the sleeve. This hole allowed the jersey to be photomatched to a December 13th game against the Iowa Chops. Hornqvist is pictured right after scoring a goal.
Beyond the holes in the sleeve and elbow, the jersey also has holes in both shoulders just below the shoulder patches.
Hornqvist played in 49 games in Milwaukee in 2008-2009, as well as in his first 28 NHL games with the Nashville Predators. He had 17 goals and 18 assists with the Ads and 2 goals and 5 assists with the Preds that season.
