Ryan Kirwan spent just one season playing at Arizona State but he made it a memorable one.
Kirwan transferred to ASU from Penn State and promptly set career-highs in goals (26) and points (39).
The winger arrived in Tempe just in time to see the program step into conference play in the NCHC, and promptly took a leading role in an offense that began scoring goals in bunches once everyone was healthy.
His 26 goals in 2024-2025 broke the previous record of 23 goals set by Johnny Walker in 2018-2019 and tied by Matthew Kopperud in 2023-2024.
Kirwan signed a two-year deal with the Toronto Marlies after graduating from Arizona State.
Arizona State made the switch from adidas to CCM jerseys in 2024-2025 due to adidas withdrawing from the sport of hockey at all levels. They introduced their new CCM home white and maroon away jerseys in August 2024 with a reveal video that emphasized the difference between ASU and it’s more traditional NCHC counterparts.
The Sun Devils wore their maroon jerseys in 16 games in 2024-2025.
Ryan Kirwan wore this maroon jersey in all 16 games of the set, scoring 13 goals and 2 assists while wearing it.
Kirwan’s jersey shows some wear with board burns, burn holes, stick marks, red paint transfer, loose threads. Most of the wear can be found in the sleeves.
These jerseys featured the NCHC patch on the right front breast. These sets mark the first time the Arizona State hockey program has had a conference patch on their jerseys.
The numbering and lettering was done by EPS. A set tag can be found inside all of these white CCM jerseys identifying them as an “Arizona State Authentic Game Jersey”.
