Tanner Jeannot emerged out of obscurity to quickly become one of the most popular players in recent Predators history during the 2021-2022 season.
Jeannot scored 24 goals and fought 14 times in his rookie season while showcasing a style of hockey that was reminiscent of the original days of Smashville. His game worn and warm up worn jerseys were reaching astronomical numbers and the “Oxbow Ox” was putting on a show.
He could not replicate that production in 2022-2023, however, and was included in a surprise mega-trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Lightning sent a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th round pick to the Preds for Jeannot..
Prior to the trade, Jeannot had just 5 goals and 9 assists in 56 games after his breakout rookie campaign. He also fought 9 times.
Tanner Jeannot’s penchant for pugilism landed him 8th all-time in fights for the Nashville Predators with 23.
The Nashville Predators wore their Reverse Retro Set 2 gamers in three games in the 2022-2023 season. Those dates were December 21st vs. Chicago, December 23rd vs. Colorado, and January 19th vs. the St. Louis Blues.
Jeannot played in all three games, tallying no points and no fights in the sweater. However, the jersey is photomatched to all three games.
The sweater has light but very visible wear which I’d rate as pretty good for a three game jersey.
Both sleeves feature multiple dark stick marks in the sleeves in the elbow area, mostly visible in the silver and white striping. There are also two repairs on the right sleeve.
The Oxbow Ox’s jersey features some loose/pulled threading in the sleeves and sides, as well as on the sleeve numbers.
These jerseys had MeiGray set tagging in the back hem.
