Victor Soderstrom wore this Phoenix Roadrunners inspired jersey on February 24th, 2024 as the Tucson Roadrunners paid homage to their predecessors, the Phoenix Roadrunners.
This was the second throwback set the Tucson club has worn. The first was a nod to the teams of the late 80’s and 90’s. These jerseys were a nod to the Phoenix Roadrunners time in the WHA by including yellow in the latest version.
The Roadrunners lost to the Bakersfield Condors, 3-2. Soderstrom had an assist on the second goal scored by Curtis Douglas.
