This baby blue alternate jersey was worn by Viktor Arvidsson throughout the 2014-2015 season, which was his first season in North America.
Arvidsson played in 70 games for the Ads, scoring 22 goals and adding 33 assists.
This alternate, like it’s black counterpart, has some of the weirdest customization I’ve seen in the game worn world.
The team decided to sublimate all of the customization, letters and numbers, and apply them as large patches to the jersey. This is not an uncommon practice with nameplates; a variety of teams do this, including the Nashville Predators.
Seeing it done to numbers, however? That’s weird.
The Milwaukee Admirals wore this alternate set in nine games during 2014-2015.
This particular jersey was worn in seven of those matchups, with Arvidsson missing the final two due to a call-up to the Nashville Predators. The jersey is photomatched (to the mark on the right sleeve from the bench shot) to a nifty little goal scored on 1/10/15 against the Charlotte Checkers, as well as to a game on 2/21/15 against the Iowa Wild.
Arvy’s jersey has light wear and only a few visible marks. Along with the aforementioned mark on the right sleeve, there are some board burns and a repair below the elbow. The left sleeve also has a mark near the elbow and some light burns. The chest has a spot near the crest and some pilling near the hem.
Viktor Arvidsson had 5 goals and 1 assist in this jersey in those seven games.
The Swedish ball of energy proved he was ready for NHL playing time in short order, and was rewarded with 56 games in Nashville the next season. By 2016-2017 he was a star in gold.
