Austin Watson was selected in the first round, 18th overall by the Nashville Predators in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
Watson spent the entire decade in the Preds organization as an AHL standout and then a bottom six winger who brought a physical element to Peter Laviolette’s lineups.
The Michigan native scored 36 goals and 41 assists for 77 points for Nashville in 306 games.
