Scott Walker is one of the grittiest and hardest working Nashville Predators in franchise history.
The forward spent seven seasons in the Music City after joining the club for it’s inaugural season. His time with the Preds was the most productive in his career, topping 20 goals on two separate occasions and tallying 247 of his 397 career points.
Walker wasn’t afraid to drop the gloves either.
Despite standing just 5’10 and 196 pounds, the Ontario native was never afraid to drop the gloves and ranks 10th all-time with 21 fights for the franchise.
2003-2004 was Scott Walker’s most productive NHL season.
He scored 25 goals and 42 assists to tally a career high 67 points. He also fought 6 times.
The Nashville Predators wore their White Set 3 jerseys in 8 games from March 11th, 2004 to April 4th, 2004 in the regular season. They were also worn in 3 first round playoff games.
Walker wore this jersey in 7 of the 8 regular season games and in all 3 playoff games. He scored 2 goals and 5 assists in the 7 regular season matchups and had no points in the postseason.
One special note about this jersey is that it was worn in the franchise’s first ever playoff game on April 7th, 2004 in Detroit.
It has moderate wear with stick marks found on both sleeves. There are more stick marks to be found on both the front and back of the jersey, though none of them are particularly large. The alternate captain’s “A” is sewn on the left breast or collarbone area.
The sleeve numbers do exhibit some loose threading and there is loose threading at the end of both sleeves. Near the left sleeve #2 is a large 2-3” repair. This jersey’s sleeves are also shortened which was a common customization quirk of Scott Walker game worn jerseys.
There is a very large repair near the lower left hem that is the most notable and noticeable feature of Walker’s jersey. It is not just one repair, but a very large one back up by at least one or two others.
Scott Walker’s jersey has both MeiGray and Cutting Edge Sports/team tagging.
