Ben Kraws transferred to Arizona State from Miami of Ohio to bolster the Sun Devils net.
Cole Brady was presumed to be the starter heading into the season, but as the games progressed Kraws took over the net as the de facto number one.
The “Kraw Daddy” finished 2021-2022 with a .907 save percentage in 27 games.
Kraws was also with ASU in 2022-2023 where he played in just 6 games as TJ Semptimphelter took over net. The New Jersey native transferred to St. Lawrence University after his second season in maroon and gold.
Ben Kraws signed a one-year entry level contract with the Dallas Stars upon completing his eligibility with St. Lawrence in 2023-2024.
Sun Devils hockey wore their “Gold Heritage” jerseys in three games during the 2021-2022 season.
Ben Kraws was the starter and played the duration of all three of those games though they all ended in losses for Arizona State.
His jersey features solid visible wear despite only three games with puck marks visible on both sleeves and the front.
The right sleeve has several puck marks just above the blocker area and one small unrepaired cut just above the hem of the wrist. Puck marks can also be found above and beside the right sleeve numbers. On the left sleeve there are also a few marks just above where the cuff of the glove would sit.
There are multiple marks on the front including puck marks on either side of the Arizona State wordmark crest. You can also see another puck mark below the crest, marks just above the white and maroon bands around the waist, as well as another on the hem of the jersey. The left shoulder of Kraws’ sweater has multiple dark puck marks in the dimples.
This gold set jersey has a couple of loose threads in the wrist of the left sleeve.
The numbers on these Gold Heritage sweaters are perforated and look incredible up close.
These jerseys did not have set tags.
