Jordan Schmaltz spent one season in the desert playing near his brother Nick Schmaltz.
A former 2012 first round draft pick, Schmaltz’s career never quite took off like he or the St. Louis Blues had hoped. He appeared in just 42 games in the NHL before beginning to bounce around the AHL.
His last North American stop was with the Tucson Roadrunners, just a short drive down from his younger brother with the Arizona Coyotes organization.
This jersey has very light wear that mostly consists of wash wear visible on the numbers and sponsorship patch, as well as snag/pull or two in the sleeves.
It is missing the alternate captain’s “A”, though there is no real sign of it’s removal.
It has an AHL Authentic tag sewn into the fight strap.
Schmaltz skated in 30 games for the Roadrunners, scoring 2 goals and adding 4 assists.
Tucson wore it’s red set game worn jerseys in 8 games in 2020-2021, though it was originally scheduled to wear them in 10 games before COVID got in the way.
