Matteo Gennaro was a 7th round draft pick of the Winnipeg Jets in 2015, but he never played a game for the franchise or it’s affiliates.
Instead, he was signed by the Tucson Roadrunners after finishing up his junior hockey career.
He played in 66 games for the Roadrunners across two seasons, with 58 of those games coming in 2018-2019.
Gennaro’s white set gamer has a very nice amount of wear.
There’s a cluster of repairs on the right sleeve and a thick black mark in the copper band around the elbow. There’s another nice burn repair and some marks closer to the hem of the wrist. The left sleeve has some repairs near the wrist as well as a nice solid stick mark below the sleeve numbers. The backside of the left sleep has several marks from sticks and pucks.
The front of the sweater has a few marks below the crest. There are a few marks on the back of the sweater to the right side of the nameplate.
Matteo Gennaro ended up posting 7 goals and 5 assists in 2018-2019.
Since that season, he’s spent most of his time in the ECHL with the Wichita Thunder.
