Philip Tomasino wore this black alternate gamer for the Niagara IceDogs throughout 2018-2019 which was Tomasino’s NHL Draft eligible season.
He was selected 24th overall in the 2019 NHL Draft by the Nashville Predators, and his since made his way through the AHL and into the NHL as a full-time regular for the Preds.
Tommer scored 34 goals and 38 assists in 67 games in his draft year, securing himself a first-round draft slot and the title of top forward prospect in the Predators system.
Niagara IceDogs wore their black set in 23 games in 2018-2019, with most of those games coming in the first half of the season.
Tomasino’s jersey is photomatched to multiple games and based on the wear I would assume he wore this jersey throughout the season.
He wore it in 22 games, scoring 12 goals and 10 assists to end up with exactly a point per game in the sweater.
Philip Tomasino’s jersey has solid wear with a generous amount of pilling in the neck collar.
The right sleeve has board burns and a small amount of pilling, plus loose threads in the sleeve numbers.
Most of the wear is found on the left sleeve, where there is a repair patch on the hem of the wrist. Burns and pulls are found in the sleeve. The left sleeve numbers have a large unrepaired hole beneath the #6, as well as two large burn/burn holes in between the #2 and #6 on the sleeve.
There is also a stick/puck mark on the #6 on that sleeve. Last but not least, there is a sizable board burn next to the sleeve numbers that has led to at least one photomatch.
Tomasino’s sweater shows several stick marks on the IceDogs crest. There are marks found both on the head and on the foot/skate of the crest. Burn marks are also found on and below the CCM patch on the left breast. The OHL patch also has a long loose thread that shows up in some photos.
On the back of the jersey, the #2 has a stick mark in the top and middle parts of the number. Other than that, the back is fairly clean.
The jersey is signed by Tomasino on the back numbers. It has IceDogs tagging in the back hem but did not come with an LOA.
