Brendan Lemieux wore this sweater for the Rangers in preseason home games in the 2019-2020 preseason.
Lemieux is not the most popular guy in the NHL (much like his father), but he plays a style as a nuisance and shit disturber that is valued in the National Hockey League.
His preseason gamer wasn't worn a ton, but it does have a little bit of wear.
The left sleeve has a glue repair and there are a couple of faint burns/marks throughout. The right collarbone of the jersey has some loose threading pulled out of the shirt itself thanks to a fight with Sean Couturier (who, ironically, was born in Phoenix).
There are loose threads throughout the shirt in the front crest, sleeve numbers, and back numbers.
Brendan Lemieux is another kid who played some youth/minor hockey in Phoenix with the Claude Lemieux Academy and the Arizona Bobcats, so he was an easy addition to the collection.
There aren't many guys who have played in the NHL from here...at least not yet.
Normally, I'd prefer a more important or well worn gamer for the collection, but this one was a good price so I bit the bullet.
